The Importance of Education
By: Berrett Stillwell
An education is the defining moment of a person's life. It shapes who they will become and contribute to society. You gain social skills, intellectual knowledge and discernment. Education is the ground level and foundation of the way a person thinks, acts, behaves and interacts. Here is why.
Having social skills is fundamental to having a good life. It is the basis to finding an eternal companion and supporting yourself and family. In addition social skills also shape how others view you and whether or not they could be around you comfortably. Without the necessary social skills you would be alone in life and missing many essential pieces to live a happy life.
You most definitely could not go through life without the knowledge you gain from an education. Also you would lack the necessary knowledge to thrive in the world. Nobody would take anything you said because of your lack of basic knowledge. Therefore it would be hard to know what to do and how to solve your worldly problems. And finding a job would be a struggle.
Being able to discern is something that people regularly disregard for how easy and natural it is but you would not have this if you lacked the proper education and or guidance. The way you think is a big part of who you are as a person in society. Also, being able to make decisions based on your morals is something that should not be taken lightly. Without it one would simply lack the necessary thought process to make decisions with confidence. This is just too important.
Having an education is a fundamental part of growing up. Growing up without one would leave you high and dry for the world to swallow. In conclusion, having an education gives you skills of knowledge, discernment and the social skills to get by in the world we live in. And having an education is too important to pass up.
